Bio

Andrew Dibb was born on April 29, 1991 in Modesto, Cali. He was raised in Oakdale, Cali. just south of Modesto in the Central Valley. It was here Dibb established his love for sunny days and warm weather. As a young boy Dibb played with his friends, skateboarding or rollerblading and going to soccer practice. From these early years, he acquired a love for sports and being active.

In April 2005, Dibb and his family moved from Oakdale to Morristown, Tenn. His father took a job transfer and Dibb’s world was about to be drastically changed. At 13, Dibb had established a strong group of friends and was begging to define who he was. The move was very hard on Dibb as culture shock began to set in. He dearly missed the west coast and all his friends. But he began to adapt and learn what it meant to live in the South. Here he learned of University of Tennessee football and fried food.

Dibb transferred schools in the seventh grade, a very influential time in a young boy’s life. He started to make a few friends but still struggled with adjusting to the different lifestyle. He began taking guitar lessons as he learned of the enriched love of music the South offered. As Dibb grew older, it would be high school at Morristown West where he would start to finally find himself. He got back into sports and ran cross country and track. He met many of his friends participating in both and even met some of his best friends who he lives with today.

With his newly found love of music and sports, he continued to train hard in cross country and began writing music with his new friends. Dibb and his friends started a band his junior year called “The Verity” who he still plays with today.

Finally graduating, Dibb made the decision to accept a cross country and track scholarship to King College in Bristol, Tenn. He spent two years there after deciding he wanted to do something else with his life. With a semester of catching up at community college, Dibb made the decision to transfer to Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn. where he lives today.

Dibb is studying Digital Media and Writing and enjoys being at a bigger university. He still has a deep love for music and does his best to run and stay in shape. He enjoys theological and philosophical conversations over a good cigar and keeping up with pop culture. He loves all things visual and pleasing to the eye and you can catch him broing down at his house or anywhere around Murfreesboro.
